Chambres d'hôtes dans le Gers

Discover the Gers

Religious architecture, from cathedrals to small romanesque churches, fortified villages, bastides, châteaux and gallo-roman remains – this is the true heritage of the Gers. Sometimes called the French Tuscany or the Golden Triangle, the northern Gers, by its ochre stone and ancient buildings, well deserves its title.

Things to Do

If you have had enough of history for a while, why not have a little excitement. Within half-an-hour's drive of here you can do parachute jumps, fly a sailplane or go hang-gliding, go downriver on the Baïse by kayak or pleasure boat, ride a horse, take a balloon trip, play golf: the opportunities are endless.

Each week, La Dinanderie lists and updates interesting things to do: visits to winemakers and distillers, to night markets, and tastings of local produce – including the delights of duck, a primary product of the Gers.
